Each box comes with a reusable insulated cooler, and the box ships with dry ice to keep the appropriate temperature during the shipment to your door.

Why Sun Raised Foods Lamb?

Sun Raised Foods lamb is raised on the green pastures of North Carolina solar farms, protected from the stress of predators, and sheltered from the summer heat and winter rain. Our farms are Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) meaning the animals are individually cared for and raised outside on a diverse mix of native grass. No antibiotics, hormones or toxic chemicals are used on our lamb or their pastures.  The result is lamb that is healthier, high in omega 3 fatty acids and essential amino acids, resulting in a tender meat with a wonderful flavor.
