Saturday, April 18th, Sun Raised Foods is hosting the second of two spring farm experiences. Guests will enjoy an open air tour of the entire farming operation including our 500 sheep, 120 acres of solar panels, and meet our Great Pyrenees dogs. After, we will sit down to 4-course gourmet farm-to-table dinner prepared by an award-winning chef with tips and tricks on how to prepare a perfect lamb dinner.

The Montgomery Sheep Farm is located just 60 miles from Charlotte and Raleigh in Biscoe NC.  (41 miles from Sanford)

Guests will meet at the Montgomery Sheep Farm at 2 pm. As guests arrive they will be greeted with a complimentary drink, while meeting others coming from across the state who care where their food comes from and what’s in it. The tour of the farm begins when everyone has arrived.

After the tour, guests will sit down for a delicious Farm to Table dinner.

April 18th Farm Dinner Menu-

Welcome Cocktail:

• Fresh Strawberries muddled in a seasonal cocktail

  Starter Course:

• A delicious charcuterie board featuring award winning lamb salami, aged gouda cheese, artisan crackers, local jam, and other accoutrements.

 Round 2

• Fresh gathered greens with thinly sliced lamb leg and a homemade salted watermelon vinaigrette

Round 3

• Braised lamb filet on indian nan bread with scratch made tzatziki and seasonal local vegetables .

 The Finish:

• A local legendary dessert featuring fresh local fruits prepared by Karen Moore

 Filtered water and ice tea will be served and guests can select wines, beer or cocktails from our re-invented horse trailer. Please let us know if you have any food allergies.
